Music is in her blood
Let's be honest. The music industry is probably one of the most cut-throat, competitive, and everybody-wants-to-be-a-star kind of place. Not many people make it, but most people are freaking talented. Picture little Jennie, 3 years old sitting on the piano bench pretending to play her dad's harmonica while he RIPS IT on the piano. That was me, always around music. My dad is the most talented pianist I know, and my momma can sing her socks off (she'll never own up to this, especially in public). But I knew I wanted music in my life since I was little. I would go to sleep at night and dream about being on the stage, singing my songs. I wrote my first song when I was in the 5th grade called "Cheater". I have no idea why but for some reason I was able to put adult concepts into a song at the ripe ole age of 8 years old! From then on I was hooked. I wrote songs all the time, and it just became how I processed every good, bad and in between day. Today, I am proud to say I have played many places, have 2 singles on iTunes, and have a music video out that I could not be more proud of. Check out everything here.
